SCANLAB is simplifying its legal structure and moving responsibilities to a new corporate form. SCANLAB AG (a stock corporation) has transferred all its core business operations to SCANLAB GmbH (a limited liability company).
SCANLAB AG is rounding out its range of attractively-priced scan heads. New to the ‘compact class’ is the basiCube 10, optimized for use with 532 nm green laser light. As a basiCube product family member, this scan system excels in laser marking applications at the new wavelength – as well as in laser-based (internal) glass engraving.
Blackbird Robotics Inc. – part of the SCANLAB group – has inaugurated its new facilities in Sterling Heights near Detroit, including an extremely well equipped applications laboratory. The remote welding laboratory allows to offer to the growing US market additional services like user trainings, application support and soon as well local repairs.
