The camera adapter enables process observation of a galvanometer scan head's working plane via a camera. This makes it suitable for process control or detection of workpiece positions and orientations during laser processing.
Its mechanical interfaces enable straightforward mounting between the scan head and laser flange. Four camera placement positions are available for setting up the objective unit, ensuring easy integration into existing or new systems.
To observe the working plane, light arriving from there is decoupled in the camera adapter via a beam splitter and imaged onto a sensor by a camera objective. In contrast, laser radiation is transmitted practically unhindered on its way to the scan system.
