SCANLAB Calibration System at Productronica
During Productronica 2015, BMK's booth presented a special highlight: the SCANalign calibration system from scan system manufacturer SCANLAB AG. Their exhibit vividly illustrated a system solution applied to BMK-produced control and servo boards.
Scan systems with SCANalign are ideal even in electronics production, particularly when the focus is on high precision and repeatability . SCANalign facilitates automatic process alignment and ultra-accurate calibration, e.g. for precise laser labeling of electronic components in a well-defined range. And during fabrication, it enables pre-and-post-process inspection of workpieces and automatic positioning of laser processing relative to the (mechanically positioned) workpiece, as well as visual quality control and documentation of laser processing.
The joint product presentation resulted from years of trustful, cooperative partnership between both South-German companies.
