Scan Modules

SCANLAB's 2D scan modules are scan heads without housings. Each model's mounting block is specifically optimized for its galvo scanner and mirror to ensure correct geometric alignment and mechanical stability. Digital or optical interfaces are available for straight-forward control via a PC.

Scan modules are particularly suitable for tightly-packed laser systems in which scan heads would be difficult or impossible to integrate. The system integrator is solely responsible for developing solutions to mechanically and electrically shield the module's scan components for integration. This creates flexibility in positioning individual components within the overall system.

All scan heads are also available as scan modules. Special configurations are available on request.
