In February 2009, SCANLAB AG was awarded the Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) status by the Munich Customs Authority. SCANLAB is the first company in their branch to obtain this status which not only allows faster and less burdensome customs procedures. If a consignment is selected for examination, they will receive priority over non-AEOs.

Companies applying for AEO status have to meet the required standards in relation to their general compliance record, logistical and control systems, financial solvency and security and safety systems. Complying with all this, SCANLAB will be recognized worldwide as a safe and secure business partner in international trade.
